January is the best month to get rid of clutter. A fresh start for the whole year brings in more space for what you want instead of keeping old stuff laying around. Do you have a spare room for everything you don’t want and in a short time you forget it’s there? Those piles block energy for new opportunities to come in.
If you remove a little each day, the piles eventually dwindle. Try it this year. And write what you want to accomplish. Written intentions have a greater chance of getting accomplished. I like to use the word intention instead of resolutions. I think it’s a word that’s more positive and less rigid than resolutions.
What room, corner, drawer, will you tackle first?
My closet is on the top of my list. Clothes we don’t wear just take up room and remind us of the past. Share them with those in need so you can move forward with fresh energy. In California, thousands of people lost their homes due to fires. They need whatever we can give them. If you aren’t a Californian, find somewhere in your town where there are places like Goodwill to take your discards. Some churches also will collect items for people who don’t have essentials.
Now it’s your turn to make your first anti-clutter intention. Where will you begin? Comment below to inspire others.

Dang! So many things to do and now I have to declutter? I need to go on a road trip. Out of sight out of mind.
LOL I do it the other way around. Out of mind, out of sight.
LOL, Linda, I’ve tried out of mind, out of sight. In other words it’s there but I’m not looking at it.
I sent you two replies because I’m not used to this new blog layout.
