Quote From Wayne Burgraff VS. Mark Twain Quote

At 2:35 today, I sent the manuscript for my new book, Captivate Audiences to Create Loyal Fans to the press.

Here is a quote that I deleted as I went over the final draft. I had several quotes and this one was the easiest to delete. Important quote but it’s not quite to my point.

Wayne Burgraff, “It takes one hour of preparation for each minute of presentation time.”

Since my book is about preparing to tell engaging stories in presenters’ talks instead of winging it, I had another quote that I liked better and kept it in the manuscript.

“It usually takes me more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.” Mark Twain.

The impromptu makes me laugh and emphasizes my point.

As Donna Kozic says, “See you in the bookstore.”
