I’ve read about the new trend for grown-up coloring books. At the Ziggy Marley concert last night a man was selling coloring books for adults with intricate designs of birds and animals. The many reasons for coloring include a need to revert back to simpler days of our childhood, which helps to de-stress. Everyone can do it, it’s creative without having to be an artist, there are no rules, you can even color outside of the lines if you don’t care about the finished project.
Huffington Post published an article titled: “10 Adult Coloring Books to Help You De-Stress And Self-Express” by Priscilla Frank on 4/21/15. “the contemporary art world has introduced us to a generous helping of coloring books that provide adults with the stimulating and calming artistic tools they so desire.”
The article included many designs. Check out the link below.

Coloring books for grown-ups are available on Amazon.
Grumpy Cat jumped into the “what’s in” and made a coloring book too. It’s my favorite.
The above shows a variety of coloring book topics.
I have a question. Since next week is the launch of my refreshed www.timetowritenow, you terrific followers will still receive my posts on your RSS but if you want the alerts for each new post sent to you, I’ll have a sign up where you will enter your email again. I’d like to have a give away when you do so, and I’m thinking of offering a simple, couple of coloring pages having to do with writing. Would you be interested? One idea is to have famous writers’ quotes in designs to color. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
